The overall experience was disappointing due to
the cleanliness issues and outdated facilities. The room felt neglected, especially the bathroom, which had visible stains. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and accommodating, which somewhat made up for the shortcomings.

The Econo Lodge offered a clean and comfortable room for my stay. The staff made a great impression with their friendly and attentive service during check-in. Location was a huge plus, really convenient near the interstate and close to local restaurants. The room had all the necessary amenities and I appreciated the comfy bed. However, the breakfast options were quite limited, only basic toast and cereal. Also, noise from outside occasionally disturbed my sleep, which was frustrating.

The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, which added a personal touch to the visit. The location was convenient, with easy walking access to both a gas station and a Waffle House. However, there was an issue with my room assignment initially, receiving an occupied room, though this was corrected quickly. Also, the breakfast options were unavailable due to an early departure.

Recommend it for those with no high expectations
They had a comfortable king bed and the room was clean which is what I really needed. And they offered a decent continental breakfast before leaving.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but what can you expect.

It was just a balanced option for a short stayover in Fort Payne with extraordinarily good value for money. The staff was helpful when I needed assistance with an issue in my room, so that was nice. A tip for future visitors is to check the shower temperature right when you arrive.
